In addition to a full mainstage season of shows each year, and a series of special events, Starlighters II offers education programs for youth and adults. Starlighters II, for all 35 years of its existence, has maintained a lending program where area schools, community organizations, and other area theatres can use our equipment, props, costumes, expertise, etc. at no cost. We believe it is our duty to support the performing arts in every way possible, so that they flourish in Eastern Iowa and enrich the lives of everyone.

What many people don’t realize as they look at the ever expanding collection of shows, events, programs and education Starlighters II maintains, is that Starlighters II Theatre is an ALL-VOLUNTEER organization. No one is paid anything for his/her work at Starlighters II. Those who have made this theatre so successful over 35 years have done so out of the goodness of their hearts and souls.
