Through music, Tuck Everlasting tells the story of eleven-year-old Winnie Foster who longs for adventure and to escape her oppressive family. While on her search for a new life, she comes across the chaotic but loving Tuck family in the woods. She soon discovers their magical secret and is forced to choose between drinking the spring's water to live forever with the Tucks ,or returning to her mortal life.
