The 1958 hit musical which won a Tony Award as well as nine Academy awards is a tune-filled musical overflow- ing with comedy, sumptuous costumes and scenery, and a precocious young lady finding her way into life and love. Set in the 1800′s Paris, the show includes such hits as “Gigi,” “The Night They Invented Champagne,” “I Remember It Well” and “Thank Heaven for Little Girls.”

Based on Colette’s comic novel

Inheritors, by Susan Glaspell, award winning Iowa author

Susan Glaspell Society, publisher

In 1879, maverick Silas Morton establishes a college on the Mississippi River. Forty years later, his granddaughter, a student at the college, faces the threat of federal prison as she embraces her ancestor’s legacy and stands up for students’ rights to free speech.

Iowa’s local history shapes this 1921 drama, inspired by Glaspell’s family history in Davneport and her own grandfather’s admiration of Black Hawk.

THE ODD COUPLE, by Neil Simon

One of the best-loved TV comedy series of the 1970′s, which came from the 1965 hit Broadway play and the 1968 movie! Felix Unger and Oscar Madison, friends and buddies until Oscar plays the good Samaritan and takes Felix into his home after Felix’s wife wants a divorce. Hilarious situations ensue as Oscar soon discovers his friend’s idiosyncrasies literally drive him crazy.
